KEY INGREDIENTS

Propolis: A potent collagen building, protective and antimicrobial ingredient made by worker bees. Applied to the skin, propolis extract effectively scavenges free radicals and protects from photo-induced oxidative stress.

Blackcurrant seed extract: This powerful anti-inflammatory calms and regenerates damaged and ageing skin, and protects the skin barrier from environmental aggression.

Sea buckthorn oil: Rich in vitamins A, E, C and K. It is used topically as a natural treatment for burns, scars, redness and skin types that are sensitive or prone to dryness or acne. The oil both reverses UV free radical damage whilst reducing inflammation and skin redness.

Castor seed oil: A vegetable-based oil containing 90% ricinoleic acid, an unusual fatty acid that inhibits the growth of many viruses, bacteria, yeasts and moulds. For this reason, castor seed oil is recommended as an antimicrobial for acneic skin, ringworm, keratoses, warts, scars and fungal infections. Castor seed oil reduces inflammation and increases skin immunity.

Shea butter: This natural healing substance has been used for hundreds of years as a natural treatment to heal burns, sores, scars, inflammation and redness. High in fatty acids, shea butter helps retain the skin's natural moisture content without "choking" it, as mineral oils and petrolatum would.
